10 Fall Date Night Ideas

1. Be a tourist in your hometown. There is always something you and your significant other haven't done together right around you. I know I have been wanting to do the underground tour in downtown Seattle or take a ride on the ferris wheel down at the pier.

2. Invite another couple over for a game night. One of the easiest date nights! Get a fire going in  the fireplace, grab some popcorn, and maybe a bottle of wine. Scrabble is always a favorite or if you are really comfortable around the other couple you can play Cards Against Humanity. Warning, things might get a little crazy!

3. Go to a local coffee shop with live music. Simple, but could really be a fun and a chill night out of the house.

4. Indoor mini golf. Okay, I am terrible at golf, but this is still fun even if you suck at it.

5. Shoot pool at a local pool hall.  Your man will love you if this is your idea for a date night!

6. Go on a hike. Who doesn't like an amazing mountain top view and the feeling of being in the wilderness?! Fall is by far the best time of year to do this. Leaves are changing color. The weather is ideal so you won't get overheated. To make a full day of it, pack a couple sandwiches and find a place with a view to have lunch. Great "selfie" opportunity!

7. Go produce picking.  This one I'm excited to try! I haven't done this yet, but I just love the idea of going apple picking! (Or whatever is in season)

8. Movie marathon weekend. In the fall there is bound to be a weekend with bad weather. Stay inside and watch your favorite movie trilogy! i.e. Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Twilight, or Ocean's Eleven.

9. Beer or wine tasting. Easy. Go to a local winery or brewery. Most have tours of their facilities and you can learn the different kinds of wine or beer they make.

10. Go to a college or professional sporting event. Going to a game can be a lot of fun, even if you aren't a huge sports fan. If not for the game then go for the food and atmosphere. I love me some game day nachos!
